213 West 58th Street was designated a landmark building in August 1989 Originally The Helen Miller Gould Stable, This elegant French Renaissance stable, which set an exceptionally high standard for carriage house design, was built by the eldest daughter of transportation and communications tycoon, Jay Gould in 1902. It has been the home of the Unity Center of NYC since the 1980s.
