A Sunday You Will Always Remember

I have been looking forward to this Sunday for a long time, and I can't wait to share it with you.

Some Sundays stay with you forever. June 14th is one of them.

When Covid arrived and our doors closed, two musicians in California opened their hearts and sang us through it. Throughout those years, Rev. Sherry and Rick Hursey showed up on your screen — a few times a year — and brought something sacred into your home. On Sunday, June 14th, after all this time, they are finally walking through our doors — in person — for the very first time.

And that would be enough to make this Sunday unforgettable.

But there's more.

In place of the sermon, Rev. Justin will sit down with one of Unity's most treasured spiritual teachers — and one of his dearest friends of over thirty years — Reverend Jim Rosemergy.

Their friendship was forged in the spirit long before they ever shared a golf cart. Jim's books and teachings were instrumental in Rev. Justin's spiritual formation before he ever set foot in ministerial school. Then, when Justin became a student at Unity Ministerial School, Jim was the Executive Vice President of Education — and he met with Justin one on one, every month, on his own time. A mentorship became a friendship. A friendship became a partnership — literally, on the golf course — and a bond that has lasted ever since.

Now, thirty years later, you get to be in the room.

About Rev. Jim Rosemergy Ordained in 1976, Rev. Jim served the Unity Movement for over 40 years — pioneering two ministries, leading five churches, serving as President of the Association of Unity Churches, and as Executive Vice President of Unity World Headquarters at Unity Village. He is the author of 17 books, a longtime columnist for Unity Magazine, and recipient of the Light of God Expressing Award, one of Unity's highest honors. At the heart of everything he has ever done is one conviction: that spiritual awakening is not just possible — it is our purpose.

He and his beloved wife Nancy now live in the mountains of Georgia, surrounded by nature, silence, and two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two granddaughters.
