JOANN CRANER

Unity has been the integral to my spiritual evolution for the past eight years. My journey included both the Unity Uptown and for the past five years Unity Center of New York which I am blessed to call my Spiritual Home. My professional background includes over 30+years’ experience in strategic marketing and brand management with responsibility for the development and implementation of national strategies while at the same time spanning international borders to work with teams in France, England, Scotland, and Italy.  Today my coaching/consulting business evolved from both my corporate experience and my many years of personal work developing the “ever unfolding” vision to see beyond my own “stuff.” From all this experience I now joyfully work with clients helping facilitate “Aha” moments for change.  I have had the privilege of serving on Unity’s Board for the past year acting both as a Board member and Unity’s Treasurer. I am also a regular participant in Unity’s Volunteer Program. I look forward to continuing my participation on Unity’s Board and being part of the team working to carry The Unity Center of New York City forward.  My professional background includes over 30 years of experience in strategic marketing, brand management and field sales, both within the corporate environment and as a small business owner. Today, my coaching/consulting business evolved from both my corporate experience and the many years of personal work developing the “everunfolding” need to see beyond my own “stuff.” I work with clients taking a holistic perspective to help create “Aha” moments for change. I am honored to be considered for Board service and to be part of the team working to carry The Unity Center of New York City forward.

Blessings to All,

JOANN

DOMINIQUE GUERIN

I am seeking re-election to the Unity Center of New
York City Board of Trustees as Alternate Trustee.
Having served on the Board, first as Alternate, then
as voting member of the Board, understand the
sensitive balance of representing the wishes of the
congregation while supporting the mission, vision and
core values of this ministry. A full participant in life at
the Center, through volunteering as usher and greater,
facilitating small spiritual connection groups and
attending classes, retreats and workshops offered at the Center, I have come to know many
of the congregants and staff at the Center, and been attending Unity as my spiritual home
since the early 90’s at Avery Fisher Hall.
In addition to my enthusiastic participation at the Center, I would continue to bring my
professional expertise to the Board. An expert account executive and contract negotiator,
I became top out of 28 sales representatives globally by increasing my account base
through forming effective business relationships and generating several million dollars
for Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters), Nature Publishing Group, and American
Management Association. A leader in the non-profit world as well, I have served on the
Board of Managers for the New York Junior League and have served as Job Coach and
Career Mentor for The Doe Fund in New York City.
Today I would like very much to re-join the Unity Center Board of Trustees and help take
the Center to its next level of growth, which it is now poised to do. Deeply honored to
have served on the Board, I have experienced and felt the profound satisfaction derived
from serving on the Board, not only as it effects members and congregants at the Center,
but also as a significant contributor to my own spiritual growth.
I continue to be deeply grateful to the Center for all it has given to me, and look forward
continuing to grow and thrive together at the Unity Center of New York City, under theblessed leadership of our Minister, Rev Justin Epstein.
Thank you very much,
DOMINIQUE GUERIN
